The electric motors are normally designed for operating under the condition within ambient 40℃ and at altitude 1000m lower. When they are running at ambient 40℃ higher or at altitude above 1000m, its performance will be affected. Higher ambient temperature affect temperature rise of the electric motor and bring it higher. In less severe cases, the power and output decreases. In severe cases, the electric motors will be burnt. The same problems will be caused when the electric motors running at altitude above 1000m because thin air lead to worse cooling.

 

We kindly ask the clients to customize when use the electric motors under special situation. The design will be adjusted to suit the conditions.
